Just the FAQs, Ma'am! (Live Events)

How can I contact The Creative Edge?
Visit our contact page for our info or to fill out a short contact form.

How long have you been in business?
Since 1993. Learn more about our history.

I have questions about the college admission videos you produce?
We have video FAQs just for you.

Where are you located?
We're based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Do you travel?
We go anywhere in the United States.

Is it financially prohibitive for you to travel across the country?
Not at all. We travel in teams of four and bring only the props/materials we can carry. We drive to locations within six hours of Atlanta, and fly everywhere else by staying flexible so that we might find the best rates/routes. For distances only a few hours away we usually return to Atlanta the same day — otherwise we stay one overnight per show.

Where do you perform?
Wherever you are! Hotel and restaurant meeting rooms, conference centers, retreat locations, cabins, bungalows, in your office boardroom or break room, etc.

Can you help me find an event location?
We can.

Do you need a stage or a large space?
Not unless you have an extremely large group. We need just enough space for guests to sit comfortably in small groups while we move about them.

What extra work will it cause me if I decide to add your program to my event?
None. You just set up the location and meal arrangements as you would have done and we'll handle the rest. You don't even have to show up — except you'll miss a great time.

Do you require champagne and green M&M's in your dressing rooms?
We're pretty easy — we need only a "set-up room" where we can change costumes and hide from guests until the appointed time. And we recommend three or so microphones for groups of over 75 persons. That's it — though the M&M's would be a nice touch.

How long do your shows run?
Shows average two hours but are flexible to your needs. See our sample schedules.

What if I need to conduct business or make presentations during the meeting?
We coordinate our program length and structure completely to your needs.

My event is coming up fast — how much lead time do you need?
If the time slot is open, we will make it happen. Even if it's next week!

How do I book you?
Fill out our contact form and let's do it!

What's your best show?
Everybody has a different favorite. We suggest that new clients begin with Inspector NoClue's Mystery. But you can't go wrong with Law & Disorder, Redneck Games & Sketches, The Bald Spot Boys Reunion Tour, Super Hero Training Team-building Show, The Weakest Link Ice-breaker, and Making Movies to Build Morale.

Are your performers professional?
Our cast and crew have been together for years and they know their thing.

Where do you get your scripts?
We write 'em.

Are you hiring actors or writers?
Our team is set at this time.

For what size audiences do you perform?
Any and all. Average is about 175 persons, but we've worked with groups of 15 to 900.

I'm hesitant about hiring a "comedy troop" — are you going to embarrass me in front of the boss?
Probably. Kidding!! You can count on us to be professional, appropriate, respectful, positive, kind, and funnnnnnny! Just don't expect us to be handsome.

Will my guests be upset with attending a "murder" game?
The "murder" in Inspector NoClue's Mystery is about as serious as the Clue board game. No blood, no gore, and the "victim" is most often laughing throughout. But we do have a "non murder" version should you prefer.

Can I see you perform before I hire you?
Yes. You are welcome to be our guest at any of our shows as long as our client is comfortable with it. Let us know that you're interested.

Can you send me a video DVD of your events?
Yes. Mention on the contact form that you would like a DVD of our shows and be sure to let us know which type of show or event you're planning.

My boss is a dud and my employees are boring — what if they won't play along?
Dude — everybody's boss is a dud and everybody's employees are boring. Give us five minutes and we'll cut through the resistance.

Tell me in one sentence why your shows are so special.
Fun, funny, personalized to your organization, full of detailed audience participation, and team-building without the team-knowing, and a great, great, great cast.

Do you like my hairstyle?
Yes — you wear it well — seriously — and we're not just saying that because we're about to talk money.

How much do you charge?
The rate various based on this criteria: how many persons will attend, when, where, and what type of show. With those details we can give you a quick quote.

Do you have any on-line specials?
Yes — play our on-line discount game.

My company has several satellite offices so it would be terribly expensive to bring everyone to one city or difficult to get all to one location.
That's why it's a bargain to hire us to present the same program to each office during a set period of time (we recommend doing so over the same month or quarter). Each office will enjoy their own private event, but yet they will have a common experience with all those who attended at the other offices. So, you can reference the experience during future meetings/contacts between offices.

We have a very large conference with too many people attending to see your show in one sitting. Do you do break-out sessions?
We do. Look at our sample schedules for suggestions as to how we might split up one show over several break-outs. We can work out a discount for multiple shows during a single conference.

Would you meet with my committee before we hire you?
Yes. Our sales representative will be happy to visit with you in person or, should you prefer, via a conference call to discuss your specific event.
